About Lauro Caetano

Lauro is a software engineer with more than a decade experience. He is passionated about very technical engineering topics as well as people/management ones. During the past decade, he has worked with big old monoliths, fancy microservices, big rewrites, big platforms with scalability issues and more. On top of that, he had made very significant open-source contributions to the Ruby/Rails community, as well as Elixir/Erlang, besides presenting talks at conferences such as RubyConf Brazil and TDC Brazil.

He is currently working as a Tech Lead at N26.
